Today, we are going to take a look at some of the Kershaw spring assisted knives. When people talk knives and want a good spring assist knife, but they have a budget, I always recommend Kershaw. There are 6 Kershaw spring assisted knives that I would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

#6 Kershaw Tremor

This has to be one of the most ergonomically friendly knives that Kershaw has to offer. Not only does it feel great in your hand, but it is a very large knife. The 8Cr13MoV blade comes in at 3.75” long. Other than size and ergonomics, you can never go wrong with a flipper. You can pick one of these up for under $30.00!

#5 Kershaw Zing

My favorite feature of this knife is that it has a frame lock. Frame locks are one of the tightest locking mechanisms out there. From the stainless steel handles to the 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade, you cannot go wrong with getting this knife. Another great feature of this knife is that you can flip the pocket clip to make it a tip up carry. You can pick one of these up for around $35.00.

#4 Kershaw Cryo

This has to be one of the most popular knives that Kershaw has released. They have a solid frame lock and won the “Best Buy of the Year” at the 2012 Blade Show. The whole knife is stainless steel and is also titanium-carbo-nitride coated for durability and looks. The Cryo is a Rick Hinderer design and has a four-way reversible pocket clip. You can purchase one of these for under $35.00!

#3 Kershaw Knockout

Here we have a great knife made in the USA for a really good price. It features a Sub-Frame locking mechanism. The handles are made out of a lightweight aluminum that is inset with stainless-steel plates to make this knife extremely solid. It is really comfortable in your hand and is an overall solid knife with 14C28N stainless steel. You can pick one of these up for under $70.00.

#2 Kershaw Rake

The Rake is a Tim Galyean design with a composite blade. The spine is made of 14C28N steel with the cutting edge as D2 tool steel. This is a big bulky knife for people with larger hands. With a flipper or thumb stud, this is a smooth operating knife made of high quality materials. You can find these for just under $90.00.

#1 Kershaw Blur w/ Carbon Fiber

These are highly desirable among the Kershaw community. For those of you who like more of a gentleman’s carry that you won’t feel bad about using this is the Blur for you. It is super lightweight due to the aluminum and carbon fiber handles. As for the blade, you are getting 154CM steel which is the American version of ATS-34. It is considered a super-steel and is one of the best steels out there. This is a great every day carry for under $108.00.

Quite frankly, when it comes to spring assisted knives, there is a Kershaw knife for everyone out there. For a reasonable price too!
